Welcome to Total Family Chiropractic! We are excited you are considering being a part of our healthy community. Please check out the Meet the Team tab to get to know us and the How we Can Help tab to see how we can help you achieve your health goals. Then, give a call at 651-653-2190 to schedule your first appointment.
When you first walk into our office you will be greeted with a warm welcome by our awesome front desk staff. We will then give you an office tour so you know where everything is and what to expect. Afterwards, we will escort you to the consultation room where you will begin with Dr. Sarah or Dr. Justin.
Dr. Sarah or Dr. Justin will begin with a review of your health goals and what you want to achieve by coming into the office. Then, they will talk with you in depth about your or your child’s health history. The more they know about your health challenges, if any, the more we can help, and the more we will achieve together. After explaining how chiropractic works and what we specifically do in our office, we will move into the comprehensive exam.
The exam consist of 4 parts; range of motion, posture analysis, high tech nerve scans, and a physical spinal exam. All parts are completely safe for pregnant women and infants. We start by testing the patient’s basic range of motion. Then, the posture analysis is taken using physics, engineering, and many mathematical calculations to formulate its results. After the posture scan, the high tech nerve scans are used to measure where the stress and tension is on the nervous system. This test is the foundation of our exam. For more details on this technology, please visit http://www.subluxation.com/productsservices/why-the-insight/
After the high tech nerve scan is preformed, the physical spinal exam will be completed by Dr. Sarah or Dr. Justin. They will examine your spine, for any misalignments that may be putting stress and tension on your spine.
The consult and exam will give Dr. Sarah or Dr. Justin the information needed to formulate a treatment plan that is individualized and specific. The treatment plan will address any challenges you may be having and if/how we can help. The first visit is comprehensive, but, should not take any longer than 45-60 minutes.
